Earlier this week, I was browsing through sites that were new to me and came upon Confashions From Kuwait which is a fab blog out of Kuwait that talks about a number of accessories and displays. Those who know me know that I was a visual merchandiser and did a number of windows and floor sets for flagship stores here in NYC! So when I saw that she had created a post juxtaposing the Louis Vuitton windows of Paris vs Kuwait, I was intrigued! Although many stores have the same concept, depending on their size you will see slight differences between your favorite store and other locations. Here in NYC, we have the opportunity to see window displays of a number of stores and how they are changed based on their size.

Confashions noted that, not surprisingly, the windows of Louis Vuitton in Paris were amazing but those in Kuwait were not as dynamic. Of course, I had seen the window display of this concept at my local store on 57th & 5th Ave as I live down the street from it but I definitely wanted to add to the conversation to show another way that it was presented. For those who have yet to see it, it’s a full on carnival theme that rocks tangerine and fuchsia which are definitely on trend for the spring 12 season. I also love the use of animals that we’re used to seeing when it comes to a carnival. Enjoy the quick pics that I took!
